Job Description
Work in a software environment including but not restricted to web
services (Axis2, REST, SOAP), JEE frameworks (Hibernate, Spring),
relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (Cassandra,
MongoDB); distributed file systems, messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka,
MQTT, XMPP), application servers (Jetty, Tomcat)
Design, develop and maintain existing or new scalable,
high-performance back end software running in our cloud platform
Enhance existing code base through feature addition, refactoring
and bug fixes.
Develop solutions for real-time and batch-mode
Support testing, change and release management activities
Qualifications
BS/MS in computer engineering, science or equivalent field
Strong Java skills
Experience designing and supporting RESTful web services
Solid experience in code optimization andhigh performance computing
Experience in messaging and collection frameworks like Kafka,
Flume, or Storm
Experience with NoSQL Databases like Apache Cassandra, MongoDB
Knowledge on big data related technologies and open source
frameworks
Configuration management (Puppet, Chef) experience is a plus
OpenStack knowledge is a plus
Experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus

Design, develop and maintain rich client web and mobile
applications with a focus on performance and user experience,
Eager to follow, learn and apply new technologies and innovations,
Enhance existing code base through feature addition, refactoring
and bug fixes,
Pursue opportunities to improve delivery quality and efficiency
within the organization,
Support testing, change and release management activities
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of software engineering and hands-on programming
experience in web applications,
Strong knowledge of Web standards and protocols like HTML, CSS,
HTTP and JavaScript,
Experience in one or more general programming languages/frameworks
such as Java, Node.JS, PHP or similar,
Experience in at least one of high-demand JavaScript frameworks
(Angular, React, JQuery etc.),
Experience in HTML5 and CSS3,
Familiarity with Frontend Dev Tools (Gulp.js, webpack, Chrome Dev
Tools etc. ) is a plus,
Familiarity with DevOps (Continuous Integration, Continuous testing
and Continuous delivery) is a plus,
Development experience in a Linux environment is a plus,
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or
equivalent industry experience.
